This carrot salad is a refreshing and balancing meal suitable for all doshas.

For the Tripa type: The spicy flavors of garlic and cumin are warming and aid digestion, which is beneficial for the Tripa type. The dressing also helps balance the taste and regulate appetite.

For the Beken type: The combination of sweet carrots, sour lemon juice and spicy garlic is particularly balancing and satisfying for the Beken type. The dressing offers a good balance between the different flavors.

Ingredients

  • 400 g carrots
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 ML jamu:MAGIC
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coconut blossom sugar
  • 1 handful of parsley


Here's how it's done:

  1. Peel the carrots, grate them finely and place them in a bowl.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a small pan and sauté the garlic.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in salt, cumin, jamu:MAGIC and coconut blossom sugar.
  4. Add the remaining oil, parsley and lemon juice and stir.
  5. Pour the dressing over the carrots, mix well and leave in the fridge for an hour.
  6. Garnish with parsley leaves and enjoy.
